The service provides hospitals and imaging centers with a solution capable of both secure image back-up and data recoverability in the event of a disaster. By using a managed service, customers can protect and preserve vital patient data and redeploy resources previously spent on in-house archive solutions involving inefficient, manual processes based on legacy technology to patient care.

Variable Thickness Regional Intensity Projection (VTRIP)

VTRIP allows for the more efficient reading of CT and MR studies making both the technologist and radiologists more efficient by seamlessly embedding advanced viewing, image analysis and reconstruction capabilities directly into their normal workflow. It allows faster case reading times, scan to read times, and potentially, increased scanner utilization. Faster reading times are accomplished by introducing:

Dynamic slab visualization (scan thin, read thick, vary as needed)
Dynamic oblique multi-planar reformat (view anatomy at any angle)
Multiple intensity projection options (AveIP, MIP, minIP)
Automatic documentation of key findings in derived views
MPR viewports grouped to use same W/L and zoom/pan
Triangulation to quickly zoom to point in multiple MPR views and back

All of the above is done within the familiar HRS user interface. No longer do you need to launch external 3D viewer for these common tasks. VTRIP is available as an integral part of display protocols. Annotations, flagging, zoom/pan, etc., all work the same as with original 2D slices with little or no additional user training required.

Horizon Medical Imaging Mammography

McKesson’s industry-leading PACS radiology workstation, Horizon Rad Station™, offers a flexible solution to leverage investments already made in radiology PACS to serve the full field digital mammography domain, alleviating the need to purchase a dedicated mammography workstation. Our workstation has received FDA 510(k) clearance to offer full support for primary interpretation of digital mammography images using a traditional radiology PACS workstation.

Horizon Rad Station - Distributed

Horizon Rad Station-Distributed is the Web-deployable configuration of the Horizon Rad Station Advanced workstation. Horizon Rad Station-Distributed provides the same features as in Horizon Rad Station-Advanced for radiologists including the work list, and does not require a dedicated workstation. It provides a solution for remote reading and for image distribution to image-centric referring physicians like orthopedic surgeons, ER doctors, and neurologists.

Horizon Rad Station - eJacket

Horizon Rad Station-eJacket is the Web-based configuration of the Horizon Rad Station image viewing platform. eJacket is intended to enable Images and reports available on any internet browsers, including those on mobile devices like iPhones. Unlike other "Web-based" viewers that require activeX or java applet plug-in, eJacket has zero client download requirements and is simple to use.

Toshiba 4D Radiology Viewer

The 4D Radiology Viewer is an integrated application enabling clinicians to view and process TOSHIBA 4D ultrasound image series on an HRS workstation. Proprietary hardware technology is not required.
